The Reykjavík is a high quality handmade leather mitten with double thermal insulation, front and back, against extreme cold weather for skiers and snowboarders looking for affordable winter handwear without compromising on quality or technical function. Materials

Complete shell of top quality goat leather with lanolin providing better water resistance and durability than other alternatives. Extra leather padding over the fingers and palm. Back-of-hand nylon stripping to improve mitten dexterity. Soft napped suede leather around thumb for goggle and nose wipe. 

Features

Fixed winter insulating lining with extra insulation lining across back of hand and inside palm. Outseams to improve comfort. Gauntlet long cuff designed to go over your ski jacket sleeve and provide additional windproofing and warmth. Easy to use elasticated toggle to keep out the snow.

Suggested best uses for the Reykjavík include but are not limited to skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, winter mountaineering and similar winter sports. Four finger mitten design effectively keeps hands warm against extreme cold.

Suggested temperature range -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit). Please note, this is only a temperature guide. What feels warm to one person may feel different to another. Exposure time, perspiration and activity level will also impact the glove's performance.

Measure the circumference of your dominant/ largest hand at the widest part not including the thumb using a tape measure (see image). Compare your measurement with the chart to find the correct glove size for your hand. If your measurement is between two sizes e.g. 19 cm or 24 cm, we recommend you choose the bigger glove size.
